What We’re About
What some people see as flaws that need to be covered up, we see them as opportunities to speak to those who have the same quirks.
We even have a word for it.
Beauty Fingerprint:
The collective features that make a face perfectly imperfect.
For too long the beauty industry has catered itself to a specific type of face. We are not all light-skinned females with almond eyes, high cheekbones, plump lips, and untextured skin.
But it is also okay if you are.
No two faces are the same and we want to celebrate that by looking more critically at how beauty products are formulated, packaged, and marketed.
Celebrating individualism allows products to reach a larger range of people to create an inclusive community.
There are no levels of beauty; we are a part of a diverse spectrum that does not run horizontally, but in every which direction.
We are not afraid to call a brand out if they are not representing enough people or if a product doesn’t work for someone.
Pushing for inclusivity in the beauty industry will take time, and until then, we will keep fighting for it.
