Nail Trends

Keep your tips on point.

Our faces have been covered for the better part of two years and our nails are a good release for creativity.

Buddle up for the colder weather, but don’t neglect your nails!

Here are just a few nail design trends that we have been loving and expect to see more of.

Dark Flowing Lines

Intermediate

These take time, but are definitely worth it in my opinion. They look fun and you can play with negative space. You can do as many or as little as you want and there is a cushion of human error. If you need to tidy up your lines grab a compact pencil brush with nail polis remover to refine the edges.

I would suggest using a brush specific for nail art, but you can use a toothpick as well. It is also easier to pour some nail polish out and work from there rather than trying to dip your tool inside the entire bottle.

Colored Tips

Beginner

I like to use the nail polish brush and make the general shapes that I want. I then go in with a brush and a little bit of nail polish remover to make the edges of the designs crisp.

Delicate Lines

Intermediate

This one is similar to the flowing lines, but with a softer touch. The thin lines allow for a very elegant feeling.

To get the lines smooth we suggest waiting until you are done before drinking your morning coffee.

Playful Tips

Intermediate/ Advanced

These can be as intricate as you would like. Here are a few examples of tips that just can’t quit.

We like to go in with a rough plan of what each nail is going to look like. This will act as a starting point for one to reference if feeling stuck.
